Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
The Handyman Startup LLC (“Handyman Startup” or “Company” or “we”) affiliate program (“This Program”) is created to help you generate income in exchange for referring new customers to Handyman Startup LLC. This Program’s Terms are a contract between Handyman Startup LLC and the affiliate (“you”), and governs the conditions for your participation in This Program.
By referring the Company’s products using the links provided by Handyman Startup, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you are not permitted to participate in This Program.
Payment Terms and Requirements:
As a Handyman Startup affiliate, you may accrue a one-time fee for each product purchase you refer that meets the requirements of a qualified purchase. A qualified purchase is the purchase of any of Handyman Startup’s qualifying products or services by a new and unique customer who (1) clicks on an affiliate tracking link, (2) purchases a product from the Company within 30 days after clicking on that affiliate tracking link, (3) does NOT request a refund within 30 days of purchasing the product, (4) pays the entire balance for the product if opting for a payment plan option.
Your fee will be either a percentage of that sale as listed in the affiliate dashboard or as otherwise agreed upon. In the event that an affiliate refers a unique customer to a discounted product, the discount will be taken directly from the affiliate referral fees.
Referrals that occur before the affiliate account was activated will not accrue a referral fee. The affiliate account must be active at the time of the referral.
In order to receive payment for referral fees, you must reach the minimum threshold of $100 in affiliate referral fees. No payment of less than $100 will be issued to any affiliates.
Missing or untracked affiliate referrals must be reported within 30 days of the referral and will be credited to your account at Handyman Startup’s sole discretion.
Payments will be sent out approximately 45 days after the end of the month in which the qualified purchase is recorded.
In the event that Handyman Startup re-issues any payment, a $35 charge will apply and be deducted from the affiliate’s referral fees.
Affiliate Restrictions and Responsibilities
Affiliates may NOT use traffic that is generated by pay to click, SPAM, or purchasing traffic to generate referrals.
Affiliates may NOT use cookie stuffing techniques that set the tracking cookie without the user actually clicking on the referral link.
Affiliates may NOT bid on or use Handyman Startup’s brand or misspelled keywords for the purpose of PPC or internet search engines.
Affiliates are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning advertising and marketing, including and without limitation, the Federal Train Commission (FTC) Endorsement Guide (See the FTC Endorsement Guide for more information.).
Deactivation:
Affiliate accounts may be deactivated at any time without warning or notice at our sole discretion. Any affiliate who violates The Program’s terms, or any applicable law is subject to having their account deactivated immediately, and any and all accrued, but not yet received, referral fees will be forfeited.
If you would like to discontinue your participation in the Handyman Startup affiliate program at any time, simply remove your affiliate links from your website and stop promoting them. However, for purposes of accounting, our system will retain your account records and personal information.
Changes to These Terms
Handyman Startup may change any of these terms and conditions in this affiliate program, in whole or in part, at any time at Handyman Startup’s sole discretion. The updated terms will be posted on this site unless otherwise stated. Handyman Startup will use reasonable efforts to provide you with at least seven days’ advanced notice for any changes that materially impact your participation in The Program. Unless otherwise provided, your continued participation in The Program following our posting of any modification on our website will constitute your acceptance of these changes.
